T2 Change - Plants and Seeds

We are learning to understand that:
Scientists follow a specific process and ask questions that lead to investigations.
Plants need many things to move through the life cycle.
We will be able to:
Show the life cycle of a plant.
Label the parts of a plant.
Classify objects using a Venn diagram
We will know we can do this when we can:
Draw pictures that depict the life cycle of plants.
Correctly label the parts of a plant

Sort and classify leaves into categories of our own making and independently represent these in a Venn diagram.

T2 Art Attack

We are learning to:
·                make a tapa cloth.
Criteria:
·                choose a design to complete
·                follow the procedure to make it using paper, crayon, vivid markers and Indian ink.

We looked at a lot of pictures of Tapa Cloth patterns and decided to base our design on flowers.

How we did it.
We did it by first starting off with a brown crayon and doing what we want for our design. After that we had to go over the brown with a vivid and we used the Indian ink to do some black on some of the picture.
